DENSO is the number one supplier of winshield washer systems in Japan with more than 50% share, and number two globally with more than 20% market share.

Demands from automakers for lighter products that improve fuel efficiency, as well as systems that maintain more efficient wiper performance by using only the optimal amount of fluid required for cleaning, are steadily gaining momentum. Another customer demand is for qualitative enhancements to enhance the appearance of external parts.

In response to these requirements, DENSO has launched systems equipped with some of the world’s most compact and lightweight high-efficiency pumps in a push to reduce total system weight. A windshield washer system that reduces the amount of fluid used is also currently under development.
