Particle Filters
DENSO Particle Filters feature high quality, non-woven fabric to remove major air pollutants including dust, soot, lead, sulphates and exhaust particles. The filter fabric is so effective that it can remove particles just a few tenths of a micron in size – ensuring a safer, more pleasant in-car environment.
Combination Filters
DENSO’s Combination Filters use high quality, non-woven fabric enhanced by an added layer of activated charcoal. This highly effective technology removes 25% more major pollutants from the air than standard Particle Filters – as well as eliminating unpleasant, even harmful, gases and smells.
Replacement
Cabin Air Filters eventually become less efficient as dust and dirt builds up over time. Dirty filters can harbour mildews and bacteria, causing allergies and discomfort. They can even affect the performance of the car’s air conditioning system.
To avoid this it is important that the Cabin Air Filter is replaced at least once a year, every 10.000 - 15.000 km, or as specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Whatever comes first. This will help maintain the air quality inside the vehicle, keeping the cabin air fresh, clean and safe to breathe.
